Community Food Projects Competitive Grants Program (CFPCGP) are USDA grants intended to bring together stakeholders from distinct parts of the food system and to foster understanding of national food security trends and how they might improve local food systems. Applications due July 16th.
OFB's 2026-2027 Donated Inventory Valuation
OFB's policy for valuing donated food is to apply Feeding America's value per product category based on a two-year average of OFB receipts by Feeding America product type.
Renewal interviews resumed June 1 for all SNAP households. Housing and utility verification remains delayed, but is still coming, and work requirement impacts continue to grow, Senate Farm Bill updates, falling SNAP caseloads, and emergency preparedness for wildfire season.
Meals 4 Kids Program – Accepting Referrals
The Meals 4 Kids program is currently accepting referrals. If you are working with families who may benefit from our home meal delivery program, we encourage you to submit a referral.
Oregon's Workfare program helps people with Able-bodied Adults without Dependents (ABAWD) status who receive SNAP meet federal work rules so they can keep their food benefits. For partner agencies, SNAP Workfare can provide your site with extra help and increase your capacity without adding extra staff and is a great way to source more volunteers!
