Immigration Forum for Service Providers - March 4
Ensure you know how to refer clients to immigration services, have access to resources, and know what the immigration updates are
You are invited to the tenth annual Immigration Forum for Service Providers. The forum is organized by the Oregon Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and nonprofit legal services organizations throughout Oregon and is designed for those who work with the immigrant community in healthcare, education, nonprofit and religious organizations, government, and similar fields. We will cover topics including:
- Immigration Policy Changes Under the Trump Administration
- The Basics of Immigration Law
- Public Benefits and Public Charge
- Know Your Rights
- How to Help Community Members Find Trustworthy Legal Assistance and Avoid Scams
