I am writing to share an opportunity from Oregon Food Bank to join our third offering of Equity Community of Practice! 

This program arose from a shared desire across the network for a space to learn, practice, and implement equity related strategies/tools. As one participant from our second cohort would put it...

“The name [of the program] truly speaks to what it is. It's not just about learning about certain topics. Instead, you truly get the opportunity to build community with other people who work in the food banking system by actually practicing the application of concepts within the group sessions and within your work. In this community, you are given the opportunity to directly consult with others who are working in similar roles as yourself at other organizations, allowing you to bounce ideas off of each other to improve your work directly, along with others who work in different roles, allowing you to have a better/more accurate depiction of the food bank system in general… Most of all, I think these sessions taught me a lot about where I personally am in my equity journey and where I can grow.”  – Cohort 2 Participant
