Beginning this week, the Farmers to Families Mixed Produce Boxes (ref # 71001) that you order may contain bagged salad greens, a product which requires temperature control for safety. If you receive these boxes and cannot distribute them right away, you will need to pull the salad greens out and refrigerate them until your distribution (or refrigerate the whole box).Here is a link to a useful ODA fact sheet on cut leafy greens.
