Public health officials are investigating a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella Newport infections linked to red onions from Thompson International, Inc. Of the 396 reported cases, 71 have been in Oregon.

OFB has not sourced onions from this producer, and we have no evidence that any are present in our network. Please verify that any independently-sourced onions at your pantry did not come from Thompson International, Inc.
