Only a sample image - not what is available at OFBYou, like many folks, have probably been excited to see some new meat offerings when you go online to place your order. Currently there's "Meat, Chicken, BULK" and recently there was "Bacon, BULK." If you were a program that is NOT a meal site, and ordered this product, you may have also received an email from Christina letting you know that the product was removed from your cart. 

Unfortunately, only meal sites (designated 1B and 2A) are allowed to order product with BULK in the description or packaging notes - and this is especially true for meat products. As you know, all meat comes to OFB and to partners fully frozen, and must be distributed in the same form. 

For example, the bulk chicken on POL weighs 18lbs, so one person would have to take 18lbs of chicken and defrost and use in one setting. While this may be helpful for some large families, it is much better suited for a meal site. And conversely, meal sites may nee to order less of the individually packaged meats that pantries prefer. 

Produce is not considered bulk, so please order as much as you can use - within 24-48 hours of your delivery/pickup.
