Session Description:

Interruptions. Long-Winded Colleagues. Unclear Agendas. While common experiences, meetings don’t have to be awful, exclusionary experiences where you don’t feel heard or like your ideas have any merit. Making meetings inclusive requires planning, inclusive facilitation, and a willingness to do things differently. In this session, we will help improve our meetings culture through a commitment to inclusivity, developing our skills, and creating an inclusive meeting culture.

Learning Experiences:

• Understand how to create psychological safety for meeting participants 

• Develop or refine skills in ensuring fair and equitable participation in meetings 

• Develop a commitment to inclusive meeting facilitation
