Network Support Funds (NSF) Grants for Agencies

Welcome to the Network Support Funds (NSF) page. On this page you will find links to our current Guidelines for Granting and instructions for submitting an application, as well as links to the online submission portal. 

If you have questions or technical difficulties submitting your application, please contact your Food Assistance Network Strategist for assistance (Portland Metro Area). If your agency is located outside of the Portland Metro Area, please contact your Regional Food Bank. 

Oregon Food Bank offers two types of NSF grants available to Regional Food Banks and Partner Agencies* who are part of the Oregon Food Bank (OFB) Network of Regional Food Banks. 

*Note: Organizations working towards becoming a Partner Agency (PA) with support from your local Regional Food Bank (RFB) may apply for funding to be used towards becoming a Partner Agency in OFB’s Network.

Rapid Response Grant - up to $5,000
Applications accepted on a rolling basis through June 14, 2024

Capacity Building Grant - up to $25,000

Applications due January 19, 2024

We are no longer accepting Word document applications (with the exception of applications completed in Spanish).

A few things to note from the Guidelines for Granting this fiscal year 2023-2024:

  • Partner Agencies are eligible for up to $5,000 in Rapid Response and $25,000 in Capacity Building Grant funding this fiscal year. Unlike previous years, only community organizations working towards becoming a Partner Agency will be considered for Network Support Funds.
  • There is one round for CBG with an application deadline of January 19th, 2024.
  • NSF continues to prioritize the following priority equity constituencies, who are disproportionately impacted by food insecurity: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC); immigrants and refugees; people who are transgender, gender non-conforming and LGBTQIA2S+; and single moms and caregivers.
  • We are working on translating updated materials into Spanish and will post them when available.
