Oregon Food Bank offers two types of NSF grants available to Regional Food Banks and Partner Agencies who are part of the Oregon Food Bank (OFB) Network of Regional Food Banks.
- Partner Agencies are eligible for both Rapid Response and Capacity Building Grants.
- Regional Food Banks may apply for multiple Rapid Response and Capacity Building Grants.
- Rapid Response applications are currently being accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Capacity Building Grant applications period is August 12 - October 18, 2024. Decisions will be communicated February - March 2025.
- NSF prioritizes project proposals focused on expanding access to programs, as well as to the following priority equity constituencies, who are disproportionately impacted by food insecurity: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC); immigrants and refugees; people who are transgender, gender non-conforming and LGBTQIA2S+; and single moms and caregivers.
- In order to be considered, applicants must be in good standing with their regional food bank. Previous grantees must have completed all reporting requirements.
- Spanish language applications materials are linked above. If any partners speak languages other than English and Spanish, we can support applications through interpretation services. Please contact us for language support.
- Information for the next grant fiscal year will be available after July 2025.
