Oregon Food Bank offers two types of NSF grants available to Regional Food Banks and Partner Agencies who are part of the Oregon Food Bank (OFB) Network of Regional Food Banks.

This fiscal year's NSF program ends on July 28, 2024. Please note that the application period for Capacity Building Grants has now closed. Rapid Response applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Instructions for submitting an application through the online grants portal are included in the Guidelines for Granting (also linked below). A few things to note about changes this fiscal year:

  • PAs are eligible for up to $5,000 in Rapid Response and $25,000 in Capacity Building Grant funding this fiscal year. RFBs may be considered for multiple RR and CBG requests per fiscal year, depending on availability of funding.
  • There is one round for CBG with an application deadline of January 19th, 2024.
  • NSF continues to prioritize the following priority equity constituencies, who are disproportionately impacted by food insecurity: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC); immigrants and refugees; people who are transgender, gender non-conforming and LGBTQIA2S+; and single moms and caregivers.
  • Unlike previous years, only community organizations working towards becoming a Partner Agency will be considered for Network Support Funds.
  • We are working on translating materials into Spanish and will post them below when available. If any partners speak languages other than English and Spanish, we can support applications through interpretation services. Please contact us for language support.
