As of March 2023, SNAP users no longer receive emergency food benefits known as SNAP Emergency Allotments.  This change affects over 416,000 Oregon families who depend on the program.

On April 11th, we will discuss the end of SNAP Emergency Allotments, which will impact our community and our families, and explore collective action to expand food access.

The NKH Youth Ambassador will coordinate the logistics and operations of three weekly Summer Free Food Markets in partnership with Portland Parks & Recreation Summer Meals programs.
