Orders must now be submitted by NOON the previous day, the order pickup window is now 8am-12pm, and we are limiting the number of pickup slots to 3 agencies per 30 minutes. CLICK TITLE TO SEE ALL UPDATES.
1. Orders must now be submitted by NOON/12pm the day before you want to pickup/have delivered. (Up from 2pm.) This is to allow our busy warehouse more time to pull orders for the next day. I REPEAT - ORDERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOON, beginning MONDAY.

Oregon Food Bank is temporarily suspending our shared maintenance fees (the $0.05 per pound that Partner Agencies pay on some food) and our markup on Food to Buy products (the small percentage we charge that is above the purchase price to help defray our costs). This suspension will be effective from 3/23/20 through at least 5/1/20.
Effective immediately: USDA/TEFAP food pantries no longer need to have clients sign the intake form. To facilitate social distancing, agency staff/volunteers may write down clients' information on Form 4 and accept a verbal declaration of eligibility.
To help prevent the spread of Coronavirus at food assistance sites, the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) and the USDA Food & Nutrition Service (FNS) have waived the requirement for clients to sign the intake form. Instead, clients may tell an intake volunteer or staff member their name, address, and the number of people in their family, and verbally declare that they meet the eligibility criteria for TEFAP. In response to the Governor's mandate that gatherings be no more than 25 people, Oregon Food Bank will be implementing the following temporary changes to the Metro and West docks, effective immediately. Additional staff will be on hand to answer questions.
- There will be no dock shopping until after 10am (only orders may be picked up before 10am)
- Please expect delays and understand we are all working to keep each other as safe as possible.
- Follow the guidance of keeping 6 feet of space between other people
- Only one shopper per agency may be on the dock at a time – others may be loading vehicles.
- Only 10 people may be shopping the Dock at one time.
- West: Shopping time is limited to 15 minutes
