The Holiday Season is here as well as the season of inclement weather. It is important that OFB is aware of any closures or service style/hours changes at Partner Agencies due to these events so that we can communicate these through Food Finder. In service to our community, we ask that you follow the steps below to get word out about any schedule changes to your service or programming.
Holiday closures: OFB will put out banner announcements on Food Finder that inform clients that they should call ahead to verify that an agency is open. You do not need to inform us if your agency is closed on a holiday. However, please change your voicemail so that if a client calls they have accurate information.
Holiday rescheduling: If you are moving your open time due to a holiday, please fill out this form to inform OFB of your alternate open day for Food Finder updates.
Closures due to inclement weather or other emergencies: Please email emergencyresponse@oregonfoodbank.org AND fill out this form. The email provided informs transportation, inventory, and operations of your closure. You still need to fill out the form, so that we may adjust Food Finder.
Staffing changes (new or departing): Please use the same form for any other changes at your agency. For example, OFB must be made aware of address changes so that we are able to update Food Finder. It is crucial that we have updated staffing information so that we may update your records, provide trainings and perhaps even send over new agreements.
