Project Description: Client Equity Assessment
The Client Equity Assessment Tool seeks to collaborate with community partners outside OFB's Partner Agency Network to invite a representative body of clients to complete the Client Equity Assessment Tool.
The tool will assess four key areas of a client’s experience at OFB partner pantries:
- food preferences,
- accessibility,
- client dignity, and
- incidents of harm
The assessment invites feedback and creates a safe channel for food pantry clients to share their experiences when accessing food resources. The findings will be used to assess regional and demographic disparities for clients within our network, foster equity-based conversations with food pantry staff and volunteers, and inform the development and implementation of equity and racial justice trainings and resources created by or in collaboration with the Network Equity and Racial Justice Team.
