 2:00 PM PTTraining Description:The Spanish Network Equity Learning & Capac
 ity Development Training (NEL&CD) is for people from all backgrounds who w
 ant to learn about equity principles and how to apply them. This multi-day
  training includes 35 hours of live online lessons and 5 hours of preparat
 ion between sessions (about 1 hour or less). The training focuses on using
  equity principles to help end hunger and achieve food justice. It’s also 
 useful for anyone wanting to promote fairness in their communities and org
 anizations.At the end of the training\, participants can ask for individua
 l follow-up support/consultation and will be invited to 3 one-hour cohort 
 sessions. Each session provides an opportunity to share experiences\, disc
 uss challenges and successes\, exchange resources\, connect with others to
  build relationships and strengthen justice work across the country.This t
 raining honors the shared goals our National Network by: \n\nGrounding wit
 h common language\, frameworks and protocols\;\nExamine how different soci
 al identities like race\, gender\, class and sexuality intertwine to creat
 e unique experiences of privilege and oppression\nSystems Change and Root 
 Cause Work by identifying systemic issues and their connection to root cau
 ses of hunger\;\nHow to authentically engage and partner with neighbors\; 
 \nHow to improve outcome and well-being measures to support our collective
  work and address food insecurity. \n\nBefore registering for the Session\
 , please consider the following:\n\nWill I make this program a priority\, 
 and can I attend all session dates in their entirety?\nDo I have any confl
 icting work projects or events (such as conferences or campaigns) that wil
 l prevent me from fully engaging and attending these sessions?\nDo I have 
 any conflicting personal commitments (family events\, vacations\, weddings
 \, graduations) that would prevent me from being present mentally\, emotio
 nally\, and physically?\nWill my supervisor and team at work support my pa
 rticipation and cover for me so I can be present and engaged during the se
