Training Description:
The English Network Equity Learning & Capacity Development Training (NEL&CD) is for people from all backgrounds who want to learn about equity principles and how to apply them. This multi-day training includes 35 hours of live online lessons and 5 hours of preparation between sessions (about 1 hour or less). The training focuses on using equity principles to help end hunger and achieve food justice. It’s also useful for anyone wanting to promote fairness in their communities and organizations.
At the end of the training, participants can ask for individual follow-up support/consultation and will be invited to 3 one-hour cohort sessions. Each session provides an opportunity to share experiences, discuss challenges and successes, exchange resources, connect with others to build relationships and strengthen justice work across the country.
